Who We Are
Al-Waasi Charity foundation is a fully registered non-profit organization in Uganda under the NGO Bureau & UMSC with an aim to transform people's quality of life & improve their livelihoods through community development projects within the underserved and remote areas.
Al-Waasi carries out its activities in the fields of supporting & empowering marginalized groups such as youth, women, PWDs, orphans, and elderly through community development, promoting community sensitization, health, education, micro-credit, water and sanitation.
In a bid to meet the constantly growing demands of vulnerable communities in Uganda & elsewhere in East Africa with maximum flexibility & expert knowledge of community outreach, economic & environmental development which are of vital importance in the region

What We Do
We provide fully funded scholarships for orphans from their journey through primary to university
We help to provide minimal shelter to the needy communities forexample tents in times of calamities
We provide essential uncooked food items to vulnerable and less fortunate members of our community
Water is life, that's why we construct, commission, and maintain rig drilled boreholes for communities around Uganda
We support all those who have income generation ideas from the communities to help raise their living standards and encourage self sustainability
