The Challenge: Orphans in Need of Comprehensive Care
At Sisu Orphanage and Al-Johan Orphanage, many children face the daily realities of growing up without stable family support. Beyond just food and shelter, these young lives require access to quality education, religious nurturing, and overall well-being to develop into confident, responsible individuals. With limited resources, both orphanages struggled to meet the growing needs of their children — making consistent external support crucial.
Our Approach: Holistic Outreach for Lasting Impact
Understanding the deep and varied needs of orphans, Alwaasi Charity launched regular outreach programs to Sisu and Al-Johan.
Our focus has been holistic, ensuring that every aspect of a child’s development is touched with care:
- Educational Support: Providing scholastic materials, school fees assistance, and mentoring opportunities.
- Religious Upliftment: Supplying Qur’ans, Islamic literature, prayer mats, and organizing religious guidance sessions.
- Wellbeing Essentials: Donating food supplies, clothing, hygiene kits, and emotional support activities to nurture their overall health and happiness.
Each visit is designed to do more than offer temporary relief — it is meant to reinforce the children’s sense of worth, belonging, and hope.
The Outcome: Lives Touched, Dreams Strengthened
- Hundreds of children have remained enrolled in school thanks to consistent support.
- Spiritual development has been strengthened, grounding the orphans in faith and community.
- Day-to-day living standards have improved through better nutrition, hygiene, and emotional connection.
Our continued engagement has helped restore the light in many young faces, affirming that they are not forgotten, but deeply valued members of our community.
Our Appeal: Extend a Hand, Light a Future
There are still many dreams in the hearts of the children at Sisu and Al-Johan that can only be realized with sustained support.
We invite you to join us in expanding our outreach — so that every orphan has the tools they need to build a dignified, fulfilling life
