Since 2021, Alwaasi Charity has been honored to host the Annual Ramadan Convention, a sacred gathering born out of our desire to strengthen the Muslim community through spiritual growth, unity, and authentic Islamic learning.
Over the past five years, this convention has evolved into one of Uganda’s most anticipated Ramadan experiences, drawing more than 2,000 attendees from across the country. Each edition welcomes a diverse audience: students, families, scholars, and community leaders, all seeking to deepen their connection with Allah (SWT) and embrace the true essence of Ramadan.
Our conventions have featured renowned Islamic scholars and teachers, whose enlightening sessions have touched on faith, character, and community responsibility. Through heartfelt lectures, open dialogues, and shared iftar moments, participants have found renewed purpose and clarity in their spiritual journey.
Beyond knowledge, the Ramadan Convention has become a platform of unity: bringing people together regardless of background or status, nurturing a spirit of brotherhood and compassion that extends far beyond the holy month.
