The Challenge: Limited Access to Healthcare
For many vulnerable families in our communities, access to basic healthcare remains a distant dream. High costs, long distances, and overcrowded public facilities leave countless people untreated, forcing them to suffer silently from preventable illnesses.
Recognizing this urgent need, Alwaasi Charity partnered with Kibuli Muslim Hospital to bring critical medical services directly to those who needed them most.
Our Approach: Two Medical Camps, Countless Lives Touched
- First Medical Camp – 2023: Launched successfully, offering general consultations, dental care, eye check-ups, maternal health services, and essential medications, completely free of charge.
- Second Medical Camp – 9th March 2025: Held during the Alwaasi Ramadan Convention, this camp expanded services, reaching even more people with specialized treatments, health education, and referrals for advanced care when needed.
Both camps were staffed by professional doctors, nurses, and volunteers dedicated to offering not just treatment, but compassion and dignity.
The Outcome: Healing, Hope, and Health Restored
- Thousands received free medical consultations and medicines they otherwise could not afford.
- Children with untreated infections were diagnosed early and began healing.
- Mothers received prenatal care that safeguarded their pregnancies.
- Elderly patients gained new access to life-saving treatments and advice for managing chronic illnesses.
- Entire families found renewed health and hope — many for the first time in years.
For many, these camps were life-changing moments: illnesses detected early, pain relieved, and lives uplifted through simple, timely care.
Moving Forward: Sustaining Health Beyond Camps
While the medical camps brought immediate relief, the need for ongoing, accessible healthcare remains urgent.
Many communities still wait for a chance to see a doctor, receive treatment, and learn how to prevent future illnesses.
Our Appeal: Help Us Keep the Gift of Health Alive
Your support can ensure that more regular medical camps are organized, mobile clinics are funded, and lives are saved.
Together, we can continue offering the priceless gift of health to those who have been forgotten for too long.
